You don’t have to travel far to find fun things to do in Inver Grove Heights, MN! Our town is home to plenty of exciting activities for families and great places for adults to spend a night out, too. The experts at your local CarHop are always hearing about new destinations from our friends and neighbors, and we’ve collected a few of our favorites here.
Drkula’s 32 Bowl
Drkula’s 32 Bowl (pronounced “Dracula’s Bowl) is one of our favorite places to go for a night on the town with friends and family, and they also host local bowling and volleyball leagues! Pool, darts, and arcade games are also available to play in Drac’s Pub, so those who aren’t quite as active can get involved in the competition, too. Have a birthday party or a family reunion coming up? Their newly redesigned party room can host up to 180 people!
Gerten’s Farm Market
If you’re anything like most of our friends and neighbors, getting ready for summer every year means picking up a few new plants and flowers for your garden. Our favorite place to go for foliage is Gerten’s, a local farm shop with helpful staff, fair prices, and a great selection of healthy plants to choose from!
Inver Grove Heights Community Center
Inver Grove Heights is home to one of the fullest and liveliest community centers in the area! An indoor water park, two ice arenas, and a 9,000 square foot gymnasium are just a few of the attractions they host on site, and since anyone can access the facilities for a small daily fee, all should feel welcome to come and enjoy themselves here. Memberships are available, and the facilities also provide plenty of space for lifting weights or swimming laps.
AMC Movie Theatre
Everyone loves a great movie, and if you’re near the Inver Grove Heights area, you can find all of the latest hits on screen at the local AMC Theatre. Bring the kids, grab some popcorn, and get ready to enjoy a few sweet hours of relaxation and entertainment.
